Fee-for-service research reports

The Centre can assist food companies with the following type of research reports:

Substantiation dossier
Summarising the scientific evidence supporting nutrition and/or health claims required for nutrition labelling and advertising.
Food regulations applications or submissions
Applications and submissions to regulatory bodies, for example, for approval to market novel foods; make health claims; and to make changes to current regulations or in permitted food formulations.
Regulatory review
Regulatory review of regulatory requirements and procedures required to launch functional foods in domestic and export markets.
Strategy development
Strategy development for new product development including identifying relevant trends and research, key ingredients and technologies.
Communications
Development and implementation of nutrition communication and labelling messages to support nutrition marketing.
Training
Training of staff on key nutrition issues and regulatory requirements and processes for nutrition labelling and advertising.
