Fee-for-service research reports
The Centre can assist food companies with the following type of research reports:
- Substantiation dossier
- Summarising the scientific evidence supporting nutrition and/or health claims required for nutrition labelling and advertising.
- Food regulations applications or submissions
- Applications and submissions to regulatory bodies, for example, for approval to market novel foods; make health claims; and to make changes to current regulations or in permitted food formulations.
- Regulatory review
- Regulatory review of regulatory requirements and procedures required to launch functional foods in domestic and export markets.
- Strategy development
- Strategy development for new product development including identifying relevant trends and research, key ingredients and technologies.
- Communications
- Development and implementation of nutrition communication and labelling messages to support nutrition marketing.
- Training
- Training of staff on key nutrition issues and regulatory requirements and processes for nutrition labelling and advertising.
